At Pacific Preparatory, we offer specialized support and enrichment programs designed for families seeking flexible, non-credit learning options. Whether supplementing a homeschool curriculum, diving deep into a student’s area of interest, or building skills without the constraints of formal coursework, our one-on-one instruction adapts to each student’s unique goals.
Families can also use our specialized support to create a hybrid learning model, where students take some courses independently while working with our expert educators for structured guidance in select subjects. Enrichment sessions can also be open-ended and exploratory, allowing students to pursue passions such as creative writing, philosophy, coding, or advanced STEM topics—without rigid schedules or credit requirements.
Enrichment Tutoring Samples
2nd Grade
This 8-week summer program supports Leon in strengthening early second-grade reading, math, and fine motor skills through fun, interest-based activities centered on music and baseball. Led by veteran educator Tracy J., sessions are designed to be playful, personalized, and developmentally supportive, helping Leon stay engaged and confident as he builds essential learning foundations.
7th Grade
This year-long Grade 7 Classical Literature Enrichment with teacher Julian K. engages Ivy in the close reading and analysis of four classic texts to build advanced comprehension, literary analysis, and critical writing skills. Through thematic exploration, creative projects, and cross-textual connections, Ivy will deepen her understanding of literature’s relevance and develop a strong foundation in analytical thinking and expression.
10th Grade
This summer math enrichment program for Theo, a rising 10th grader, focuses on mastering key Algebra I concepts, building confidence, and previewing foundational geometry to ensure a strong start to the school year. With expert guidance from instructor Beth D., sessions blend targeted review, real-world applications, and personalized strategies to support Theo’s growth as a capable and confident math learner.
