Tutoring and Academic Support
We are dedicated to providing students with exceptional instruction. Our teachers are subject-matter experts, carefully vetted by our leadership team, and many hold teaching credentials with extensive experience in education.
K-12 Subject Tutoring
Our teachers provide individualized support in all academic subjects, reinforcing content knowledge and essential academic skills.
Online Tutoring: $170 per hour
In-Person Tutoring (San Francisco & Los Angeles): $210 per hour
Standardized Test Preparation
We offer expert test preparation for a range of standardized exams, including SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP exams.

Tutoring is pay-as-you-go, with no required packages or long-term commitments. Families can start and stop at any time based on their needs.

Orton-Gillingham Certified Structured Literacy Instruction
Delivered by certified instructors, our Orton-Gillingham-based instruction offers a structured, multisensory approach specifically designed for students with dyslexia, going beyond general phonics support to address the unique needs of struggling readers.
Online Instruction: $260 per hour
In-Person Instruction (San Francisco & Los Angeles): $300 per hour
*For optimal results, we recommend 30-minute sessions four days per week, available exclusively through our online model. In-person sessions require a minimum duration of one hour.

TutorBird keeps track of charges in real-time based on the sessions scheduled on your tutor’s calendar. As tutors take attendance, charges adjust. We recommend families pay their balance 1x a month when an invoice is sent, though they are welcome to reconcile charges at any time.

Invoices are sent via email on approximately the 2nd of every month. They can always be viewed and paid by logging into our online portal.

After receiving the invoice via email, you can click on the link and submit a one-time payment. To set up autopay:
-Log in to the portal
-Click on your name in the upper-right corner
-Select “Profile Settings”
-Select“Stored Payment Options”
-Click “Add Card” and enter information -
Of course! Please give us a call directly at 415-990-1322 ext 102 and we can enter and save your credit card information for you.

They are due within 10 days of the invoice date.

We accept Automated Clearing House (ACH) and credit cards as forms of payment.

Yes, we automatically charge a $30 late fee after an invoice has remained unpaid for 30 days.

You can login to your account and access your previous invoice. Each month, any remaining balance will be added to your new invoice.

No, our system only allows for one payment account to be applied to invoices.
