Jana Parker is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and the founder of Mind by Design, a multidisciplinary private practice in Campbell, California that provides both psychoeducational evaluations and educationally related intervention services. Before launching her practice in 2020, Jana worked in public schools for 16 years as a school psychologist and administrator, where she developed a deep understanding of how to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs. At Mind by Design, Jana leads a team of professionals who are passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults better understand how they learn and what they need to succeed. In addition to her clinical work, Jana runs Empower LEP, a coaching and consulting business that supports school psychologists—particularly in California—who are exploring or transitioning into private practice. Through her podcast, trainings, and mentorship, she’s on a mission to help LEPs build sustainable, meaningful careers outside of traditional school systems.
