Rejecting the "pay-to-play" model, our school prioritizes teaching practices over marketing strategies. The virtual learning format enhances focused time on tasks, equipping students with tools for success through real-time observation and tailored instruction. Pacific Preparatory's challenging yet balanced curriculum, multidimensional instructional approach, and adherence to the science of reading and math set it apart as an academically rigorous institution dedicated to preparing students for a lifetime of critical thinking and success.

While many teachers and parents know that middle and high school students benefit from executive functioning support, we have also found that college freshmen benefit from it as well. Newly tasked with navigating an academic environment without the majority of their previous tools, college freshmen thrive when paired with a coach and an advocate who can, among other things, help them set and track goals, manage their time, and cultivate resilience.

At the end of the fall semester, our community came together to celebrate all our students’ hard work in our first ever Fall Showcase. We created a virtual bulletin board highlighting particular projects and allowing other students, families, teachers and administrators to leave comments. Students were thrilled to see what their peers have been up to!

This fall, we’ve been chatting with more and more families who are interested in dual enrollment options for their children. With Pacific Preparatory dual enrollment, students can be enrolled in their primary school of record while supplementing their coursework with 1:1 PacPrep courses.

Online learning has been so effective for our students and teachers because teachers are empowered to use a mix of physical materials and digital tools to make learning dynamic and engaging. We’re proud to share some examples of what tools our instructors use to propel their students’ learning.
